Delete your account

Open Pilloved and go to Settings. Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm when you're asked.

That's the whole process. The deletion takes effect immediately — there's no waiting period, no queue, and nothing to approve on our end.

If you've uninstalled Pilloved, lost the device, or can't sign in, email us at hello@dobro.dev and ask us to delete your account. Please write from the email address the account is registered to — that's how we know the request is really yours.

We'll take care of it and get back to you within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes the account itself along with the personal data held against it:

• Your profile and account record.
• Your memberships of any care groups you belong to.
• Your medications, and every dose scheduled or logged against them.
• Your health logs and patient notes.
• Your monitoring relationships — the links that let you watch over someone, or let someone watch over you.
• Your encryption key grants, your notification tokens, and your subscription entitlement records.

Copies of your data can survive for a short while in our routine backups after the account is gone. Those backups age out within 30 days, and we don't restore deleted accounts from them.

Pilloved is built for looking after people together, so a little of what you contribute is shared by design. Content you created that other members of a care group still rely on stays with that group — it's simply no longer attributed to your account.

The same holds the other way around. If you share a care group with other people, the medications, doses and notes they created are theirs, and deleting your account doesn't remove them.

If you're the only organizer of a care group that still has other members in it, the app will ask you to promote another member to organizer before you can delete your account. Without that step the group would be left with nobody able to manage it.

If you're the group's only member, there's nobody to hand it to — so deleting your account removes that group along with it.

Pilloved encrypts medication names, notes and similar personal content on your device, so deleting your account removes both the stored data and the account's ability to decrypt it.
